Insider tips

Keep your camera ready near camp. Tubu Tree is famous for its leopard sightings, and these cats often move through the riverine forests around camp itself.
Look for the change in landscapes. The western side of the reserve transitions between floodplain, woodland, and bushveld. This diversity supports a wide range of wildlife, so drives here often feel like exploring several ecosystems in one outing.
Watch the sunset from the floodplain decks. The west-facing views from the tents are ideal for sunset. The light spilling across the plains often attracts grazing animals in the golden hour.
