The lodge is an eco-friendly operation (Gold Eco Rated), we take maximum care of the environment and its people, without compromising the comfort of its guests. We work hard to ensure this little piece of paradise is preserved, to do this we have a number of programmes. Solid waste management, renewable energy solutions, Solar powered principally. We guarantee Maasai landowners' revenue through the lease of their land, which in turn preserves an essential natural corridor for the abundant wildlife to roam as they please. The whole community also benefits with schooling and other projects.

Activities include guided nature walk, bird walks, day/night game drives, bush meals, sundowners, and cultural visits within the 3,000-acre private conservancy.
Responsible tourism through communities & conservation work (Gold eco-tourism rating).
Cottages all situated with fantastic views of Mt. Kilimanjaro.

Location Details

There are daily flights from Nairobi’s Wilson Airport to Amboseli Airstrip or by charter to Tawi’s private airstrip. Driving is an option too, the drive takes approximately 5 hours from Nairobi. Or by train (SGR), to Emali Station, then a road transfer by Tawi to the lodge (2 hours).
