    Insider tips

Unique in the fact there are not many tented camps in the Kruger area.
Very contemporary design and a much more affordable price point in comparison to other properties in the area.
    Incredible food.

Everything about this lodge feels divine, but it’s the details, the quiet, thoughtful touches, that make it exceptional.

The food has been nothing short of exemplary. Extraordinary food like this is not always a given in the bush here, it is a highlight and so appreciated. Wilson and Tom are very gifted.

There is not a single detail that doesn’t contribute to making Saseka Thornybush feel like one of the most luxurious, thoughtful, and special places imaginable.

I had no idea what to expect but expectations were wildly overachieved, and I truly meant it when I said I've seen some fabulous places and fell totally in love with the whole ethos, team and spirit and soul of Saseka.

Saseka is one of the most beautiful tented camps I have had the pleasure of staying in. Part of the Thornybush collection, it combines the romance of canvas with a level of finish and detail that genuinely surprises.

The addition of a gym and a stunning new bar and dining area, which closes in for the cooler winter months and opens right up in summer, means it works brilliantly year-round.

A truly special property that is very easy to recommend.

We can't say enough about our stay. From arrival, we were struck by the property's beauty, the exceptional service, the food, and the genuine hospitality throughout. Every member of your team made us feel welcome, warm, attentive, and clearly invested in giving us a memorable experience. A special mention for Mr. T. In 22 years in this industry and over 100 safari camps visited, he's one of the most attentive hosts I've encountered. Drinks were never empty, meals perfectly timed, and he anticipated our needs before we asked (he also kept the monkeys away from our breakfast). He's a real asset to your team. The suites were stunning ,exactly the luxury our clientele looks for, and the camp's design and atmosphere are breathtaking throughout. The wildlife was a true highlight. After many years of safaris, this one will stand out: watching a male leopard make a kill, then finding his mother Saseka resting nearby, and ticking off the Big Five in a single day. I'll be telling our team just how exceptional the game viewing is here.
