At Pabidi Lodge Budongo guests are only 10 minutes away from the chimpanzee tracking trailheads. Early morning treks are most likely be the most rewarding as the chimps tend to be more active than in the afternoon.
Pabidi Lodge’s location allows visitors to easily combine rainforest adventures with classic Murchison Falls savannah experiences. Guests spend the morning immersed in dense forest then reach the open plains in the afternoon.

Location Details

Pabidi Lodge is a 5-hour drive from Kampala. From the Kichumbanyobo gate, it is a 20-minute drive with a left turn to the lodge. The lodge is ideally located about 10 minutes from the main forest activities.

The nearest airstrip is Pakuba, about 60 km away. Masindi town is approximately 45 minutes from Budongo.
