Our commitment to sustainability and responsible tourism is deeply ingrained in every aspect of Ghoha Hills and Nogatsaa Pans. To minimize our ecological footprint, we've implemented various initiatives promoting sustainable tourism. By adhering to these principles, we aim to offer guests a safari experience that not only immerses them in Botswana's natural beauty but also preserves it for future generations. Both lodges feature extensive solar farms powering our operations through Battery Solution systems. This reduces our reliance on non-renewable energy sources and minimizes our carbon footprint. Additionally, all boreholes operate on solar power, furthering our commitment to sustainable energy practices. With have state-of-the-art waste disposal systems in place, ensuring reliable, sustainable, and dignified sanitation solutions. Recycling efforts are a priority, with various materials sorted on-site and transported to Kasane for proper disposal. Leftover food is donated to local livestock farmers, minimizing food waste and supporting the community. Guest amenities, we proudly utilize the Beautiful Earth range, known for its natural, environmentally friendly, and cruelty-free products. Our commitment to local communities is evident in our employment practices, with a significant portion of our staff coming from surrounding communities. We provide employment opportunities, training, and support to local farmers by purchasing fresh items from them. Both Ghoha Hills and Nogatsaa Pans hold Eco Tourism certification from Botswana Tourism, the highest level of certification, reflecting our dedication to minimizing our environmental impact. Preserving Botswana's natural beauty while offering guests an unforgettable safari experience is not just our goal but our company ethos.
