    Insider tips

The highlight activity, which is unique to this national park is the boat safari. You can expect to see a verity of wildlife and if you are lucky the chance to see elephants swimming from island to island in search of the freshest grasses.
Our neighbours are one of the last remaining communities of the Veddha – the indigenous people of Sri Lanka. The village chief can take you on a walk through the jungles of his ancestor and learn about the local flora and fauna and the tribe’s use of medicinal plants.
Digital detox - there is no WiFi at the property and very limited phone signal.
