    This pioneering sustainable property is a world away from the hot bustling city centre of San Jose, but still only 30 minutes from the airport, situated on the slopes of the Heredia hills with beautiful views across the valley.
    A delightful network of winding paths lined with tropical trees and bushes leads guests to a collection of small buildings with white washed walls and terracotta roofs, within each house is an eclectic range of 14 spacious, artistic, colourful rooms.
    The fertile volcanic soil allows for abundant coffee crops which thrive in the tree-shaded 30 acre farm, also home to over 150 species of birds. All the beans are organic and guests are encouraged to take a tour of the grounds, with a coffee tasting.
