Insider tips

Freedom to Roam: Explore and experience a working Farm in the Cape Winelands; the vineyards, the orchards and at its heart, the garden with a huge variety of vegetables, fruits as well as collections of rare plants. Grab a complimentary bike, hike the trails or join a wide variety of guided experiences to bring the Farm to life. This is a working Cape Dutch farm — not just a hotel — designed to be explored at your own pace.
It’s All in the Detail: Rooms are filled with thoughtful farmhouse-luxury interiors and touches: daily baked treats, a basket of seasonal produce, an in-room fridge filled with farm produced wines and soft drinks, free access to a beautiful hot spa and gorgeous guest only areas / pools. We love the tassie massie bathroom bouquets made with home grown fresh Cape scents.
Linger for Longer: Babylonstoren is a destination in itself. Enjoy wine and olive oil tastings, farm-to-table dining, bakery experiences, spa time, slow and scenic picnics and guided mountain walks — all set in one of South Africa’s most beautiful estates.
