Ant’s Hill and Ant’s Nest are among our favourite bush homes and safari lodges in Africa. Hidden away in a very beautiful, high, hilly, malaria-free part of the Waterberg in northern South Africa, they are perfect places for activity and fun for all ages, great scenery, good wildlife, and superb hospitality.

We have been collaborating with Ant’s Nest and Ant’s Hill for over 15 years. They are undoubtedly one of our top recommendations for riding safaris, catering to both riders and non-riders. Ant’s is exceptional due to its owner-managed approach,an incredibly cohesive team that treats clients like cherished friends, and its stunning accommodation, food, and hospitality. The horses and game are fantastic, we personally think this is the best selection of horses you’ll find anywhere on a riding safari.

It has been a mere pleasure to work with Ant Africa Safaris for more than 13 years now. This great and luxurious product has improved over the years and is located in a Malaria-free area. The staff is fabulous, very supportive regarding special requests of clients and bookings are dealt with a lot of love to detail. In all those years not a single client was disappointed of the holidays spent at the lodges Ant’s Hill and Ant’s Nest instead all of them were raving about the luxurious accommodation, tasty food, the guides and the special experience in the bush.
